Agcarm is the industry association for companies which manufacture, distribute and sell products that keep animals healthy and crops thriving. Our members are committed to ensuring that their products are used carefully, effectively and sustainably to provide a safe, affordable and abundant food supply.
Our mission:
- Promote the responsible use of animal health and crop protection products in agriculture, for farm and companion animals and in urban areas;
- Ensure that the regulatory environment is responsive to scientific progress and community welfare;
- Promote public understanding of our industry’s role in the community and economy.
Agcarm’s 30 member companies hold two conferences a year and the organisation is governed by an executive committee supported by three sub-committees (crop protection, animal health and distributors). Agcarm’s secretariat is based in central Wellington.
