Agcarm offers a useful guide to preparing labels for animal health and crop protection products. The guide meets the requirements of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 and the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997.
The guide is an Environmental Risk Management Authority- approved Code of Practice. It is free for Agcarm members, and for sale to non-members (NZ$200 plus GST). For a copy of the guide, email gpeters@agcarm.co.nz.
First published in 2006, the guide is currently being reviewed. A second edition should be available towards the end of 2010.
