Agcarm offers a useful guide to preparing labels for animal health and crop protection products. The guide meets the requirements of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 and the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997.
Updated Labelling Guide Available For Sale
The second edition of Agcarm’s Labelling Guide is now available to purchase. If you write labels for agricultural compounds, you’ll find the guide very useful.
The second edition has been refined based on experience gained by Agcarm members over the past five years in producing labeling and documentation for agricultural compounds and veterinary medicines.
Like the first edition, the guide is approved by the Environmental Protection Authority as a Code of Practice. A code of practice will tell you how to meet the HSNO Act regulations and controls in a way that is legally defensible. The guide also includes advice on meeting the labelling requirements of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act.
The label guide is free for Agcarm members.
We welcome inquiries from others who want to purchase the guide for $NZ900 plus GST ($NZ1035 including GST). If you write labels and register products, this is money well spent.
