Mark joined Agcarm in February 2015 with over 25 years’ experience in the primary sector. Previously, he worked as General Manager of Policy and Advocacy with Federated Farmers of New Zealand and held senior positions at the Ministry for Primary Industries. He has an Executive MBA from Massey University and agricultural qualifications from Lincoln University and received a community award for leadership in eradicating Australian subterranean termites from the Waikato region. Mark sits on several Boards, including Agrecovery and GrowSafe. When not working, Mark enjoys time with his family, sports and competing in triathlons.

Jeff Howe commenced with Agcarm in December 2020, after twenty years developing international business at Victoria University of Wellington. Before that he worked for the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology - where he developed research strategies for animal industries and intellectual property policy, and for the-then Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Policy Group where he worked on the development of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (ACVM) and Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (HSNO) Acts.
